There are beings you cannot describe without also describing how they make you feel. Fenwick is one of them.

He is a fox \u2014 but not one made of fur and bone. Fenwick is made of light. Warm, honey-golden light that flows gently through his form like a current of liquid gold. Across his entire being, glowing spiral patterns move slowly and steadily, as though breathing. And his eyes \u2014 ice blue, calm, and ancient \u2014 look at you in a way that feels less like being seen and more like being understood.

Fenwick is the Keeper of a very old, very hidden place deep in the heart of Glimmerwood \u2014 a place most people never find. He is bound to it, the way a river is bound to its bed. But he doesn’t need to leave it. Because the right people always find their way to him. Sooner or later. They always do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How old he is, it’s hard to say. Fenwick himself compares himself to a river, or a mountain \u2014 he is not a creature who was born and grows older with each passing year. He is more like an idea that has taken shape: the idea of guardianship, of balance, of quiet and patient care.

What makes Fenwick extraordinary is not his power \u2014 it’s his nature. He is calm, wise, and gentle, but also warm and quietly witty in a way that catches you off guard.
